What is work study?

Work study is the systematic examination of methods of carrying on activities so as to improve the effective use of resources and to set up standards of performance for the activities being carried out. Two parts of work study. Such as, A. Method study and B. Work measurement.

AIMS OF WORK STUDY:

  • To eliminate wastage time & labor.
  • To reduce fatigue & boredom of work.
  • To find the best way of the job.
  • To have the more utilization of machineries & workers.
  • To improve design of the work place layout.
  • To train the individual operators or its practice as standard methods.
